There’s a new royal documentary coming out in England that’s alllll about royal lip reading.
The doc shows disgraced ex-Prince Andrew literally begging Prince William for forgiveness.
William was allegedly left “furious” by the interaction.
Celebrity lip reading is being taken to a whole new level across the pond, where Channel 5 is releasing a documentary called Lipreading the Royals. And one lip reader went ahead and analyzed footage of Prince William and his disgraced uncle, ex-Prince Andrew, talking after the Duchess of Kent’s funeral back in September—just weeks before Andrew was stripped of his titles.
According to the lip reader (via The Express) Andrew said "I've learned from what I've done.” He also added “But before I forget, I'd like to ask you if you can forgive?”
At the time, royal author Andrew Lownie said that Andrew’s comments to William had made him “furious” and he was particularly upset about being photographed with him at the service.
“He has been at pains to distance himself from his uncle and not be photographed with him,” Lownie said. “He believes his father has not dealt with him with sufficient firmness and that Andrew – and Sarah Ferguson – have done much to undermine the good work of other members of the Royal Family.”
Since September, Andrew’s had his titles stripped, been evicted form the Royal Lodge (where he was living rent free), and was arrested on his birthday. It remains to be seen whether he’ll stand trial.
